Perfect Itinerary for Boston Vacation

When I travel, I want to see all the sights, taste the best food, and really get to know the history and culture of the new city I’ve found myself in.

In the past, I used to exhaust myself with meticulous plans, attempting to cover every must-see spot and culinary gem. This left me feeling mentally drained, and I'd still miss out on some of my top picks to see. But then, a game-changer came into my travel playbook – guided tours. These days, my travel itinerary follows a simple rhythm:

  • Day 1: Guided Walking Tour - These kick-start my exploration, allowing me to soak in the city's top attractions while connecting with its essence. Plus, the tour guides are like travel wizards, sharing not only historical tidbits but also insider recommendations for the rest of my adventure.

  • Day 2: Local Food Tour - These are my culinary compass, guiding me to the local favorites and unearthing hidden gems I'd never find on my own. They often reveal a restaurant or dish that becomes my go-to indulgence during the trip.

  • Day 3: Unique Way to See the City - (Boat, Bike, Helicopter, Bus, Trolley, Segway) - These add a layer of excitement to my exploration, letting me experience the city in unconventional, thrilling ways.

  • Day 4: Day Trip with Transpo - If I don't have a car, these day trips are perfect. They whisk me away to nearby wonders without the hassle of logistics, ensuring I don't miss out on any nearby treasures.

  • Day 5: Museums/Attractions - I save museums and attractions for my last day of the trip for two reasons - (1) During guided tours during the first half of your trip, you visit many top sights and (2) I like to gather recommendations from other travelers during the first half of the trip. After the guided tours, I’m typically able to reevaluate the museums and attractions I want to see and then determine where I’d like to spend my time on my last final day.
